with this awesome girl. She has far exceeded anything we
thought would be possible, and the future will only show her awesome
potential. Watch for this lady in the stock and agility trials
in the coming year.
She had 1 leg on her CD title (with a 1st place), 1 leg each in
Open sheep and ducks, and she wasn't even 2 years old when she
achieved that!

qualifying scores in Started Sheep (13 months old)
July 2008 - AKC Herding at Dixon, CA: final qualifying score to
obtain the title of Herding Started Sheep title (HSAs)
July 2008 - ASCA Herding trial at NorCal ASC show, Dixon, CA:
qualifying score in Sheep and Ducks, and the award of Most
Promising Started Aussie
September 2008 - ASCA Novice B obedience qualifying score, first time
in the ring, after practicing only 1-1/2 weeks, with a score of 191-1/2 and a 1st place!
September 2008 - won NorCalASC's Most Versatile Aussie award
September 2008 - PASA ASCA agility trial: 1st leg and 2nd place in
Novice jumpers (Bruce wrenched his calf muscle and we left early, so
she didn't compete any more that weekend).

Novice Jumpers for her title, and a qualifying score in Open ducks.

Elki was a Qualifier in the MVA (Most Versatile Aussie) competition, finishing at #21 (out of 89 entered), and this was her first time competing in the MVA program at a National Speciality.
